Residential Treatment Program at The Gibson Center for Behavioral Change
The Gibson Center for Behavioral Change offers a Residential Treatment Program designed to meet the specific needs of our patients. Our residential facility helps patients to live healthy lifestyles, focus on learning new skills, values and regain physical and emotional well-being.
Clinically-managed interventions are directed by certified treatment professionals trained in gender specific and culturally sensitive treatment services to address individualized needs to develop and apply recovery skills.
Our Residential Treatment programs include various services such as:
- Individual Counseling
- Relapse Prevention
- Group Therapy
- Community Support
Our goal is to help our patients reintegrate into the general community through development of life skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills and learning how to apply them to impact positive change in their daily lives.
Our Residential Treatment programs:
- Provide techniques to identify triggers, learn healthy ways to deal with them and effectively fight cravings when they arise.
- Help to identify and build healthy relationships needed for accountability and support.
- Assist in developing coping skills to help transition into a sober lifestyle through support from a community support team.
- Help to reach employment goals with IPS Employment Services.
- Implement individualized education and recovery resources.
All Gibson Center services take a team-oriented approach to a person’s care and recovery. Gibson Center for Behavioral Change team members include a clinical supervisor, substance use counselor, mental health counselor, community support staff, employment specialist, nursing, direct care staff, and referral source.
Length of stay is variable and is determined by the needs of the patient and recommendation by the treatment team.
