The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the treatment services and overall conduct of the Gibson Recovery Center’s outpatient treatment programs. This includes, but is not limited to, state-contracted Primary Program, private and insurance outpatient referrals, and for the overall clinical and day to day management of all operations of outpatient services within the Southeast Missouri area. This position assumes responsibilities for all aspects of daily operations in the outpatient program; too include administration, performance improvement, consumer and stakeholder satisfaction, and staff supervision and development.
Minimum of four years related employment experience providing mental or substance abuse services. Progressive/Supervisory management experience required required. Applicants must possess a certification by the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB), Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC), Certified Reciprocal Advance Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRAADC), Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has completed or will complete within 6 months the clinical supervision credentialing process. High school diploma or GED is required; degree in human services field preferred. May substitute work experience on a year to year basis. Experience with co-occurring disorder clients is desirable.
